Introducing Jaquelin Mignot, the latest addition to the Overit Studios sound team! 

Jaquelin initiated her audio engineering journey at Saint Rose in Albany, gravitating towards music production. However, her passion evolved into a love for all things sonic, leading her to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she earned a BS in Music with a focus on production.

During college, Jaq’s musical talents were showcased in the orchestra, wielding her violin and singing in the jazz band. Amid her academic pursuits, she immersed herself in live sound engineering at a local music venue, orchestrating audio experiences for events and bands, occasionally taking the stage with her family’s band.

Jaquelin’s recent chapters have been devoted to the world of film, delving into sound design, composition, and audio capture, particularly in the realm of horror. Now, she brings this curious creative energy to Overit Studios.

At Overit, Jaq takes on diverse projects, from podcasts to commercials and films, injecting each with her unique sonic knowledge. When she’s not behind the soundboard, you might catch her starting yet another craft, buying a new plugin, or listening to an embarrassingly chaotic playlist of music. You know, the kind that makes you question her taste (but secretly enjoy it).
