Designing Intuitive Websites via Navigation

Website owners have mere seconds to draw the visitor in and present an experience that a visitor expects in order to keep that him/her on the site and deliver the sought after information quickly and easily. This is the basis for an intuitive website.

While designing and developing an intuitive website is multi-faceted, a key element to any intuitive website experience is the navigation.

At Overit Media we take intuitive experiences very seriously and spend a good amount of time during our planning, discovery and design processes in order to provide such experiences.

Web Design Ledger (webdesignledger.com) featured one of our recent projects in its list of 30 Inspiring Website Navigation Menus. They say:

“No matter what the nav looks like, there’s one thing for certain: it should be intuitive and easily accessible. So for your Monday inspiration, we’ve rounded up 30 websites that we believe have exceptional navigation menus.”

Our website for OperationUpCycle.org was featured in that list and can be experienced here. See the entire Web Design Ledger list of 30 inspiring navs here.
