Project Manager
Client-Facing | Hybrid (Albany, NY)
As part of a growing, collaborative team of creative and marketing professionals, the Project Manager is a crucial steward of client success and a key driver of long-term agency partnerships.
This role focuses on managing execution, communication, and coordination across internal teams and clients – allowing strategic leaders to focus on higher-level planning and direction. The Project Manager is responsible for translating strategy into clear plans, maintaining momentum across projects, and ensuring work is delivered with quality, clarity, and accountability.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear, professional, and responsive communication.
- Manage the execution of marketing projects across multiple channels, ensuring timelines, scopes, and deliverables are met.
- Collaborate closely with internal strategic leaders, account leads, creative, digital, media, and production teams to translate strategy into actionable project plans.
- Support client onboarding from an execution standpoint, ensuring processes, timelines, and expectations are clearly defined.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, briefs, schedules, and workflows for ongoing and campaign-based work.
- Lead client status meetings and internal check-ins, providing clear updates, action items, and next steps.
- Track project scopes, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with account and production teams.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, scope changes, and resourcing challenges early – escalating issues and proposing solutions before they impact delivery.
- Review work in progress to ensure deliverables align with briefs, objectives, and client expectations prior to client delivery.
- Translate client feedback into clear, actionable direction for internal teams, ensuring alignment and minimizing rework.
- Ensure all work adheres to Overit’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and reporting across all assigned work.
- Advocate for client needs internally while balancing scope, timelines, and team capacity.
- Comfortable learning and working in project management software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and workflows.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Maintain consistent visibility into project status, progress, and next steps for both internal teams and clients.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-moving situations while maintaining accountability and follow-through.
- Promote collaboration and accountability across internal teams.
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, communication, and delivery.
- Represent Overit professionally in all client interactions and communications.

- 2–5 years of project coordination or project management experience in an advertising, marketing, or creative agency environment.
- Experience supporting client-facing projects and participating in client meetings.
- Foundational understanding of creative, digital, media, and production workflows within a marketing agency.
- Experience tracking project timelines, scopes, and basic budgets.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Monday–Friday, with a minimum of three days in-office at Overit and two days remote (WFH). This role supports standard business hours, with flexibility as needed to meet project deadlines and client needs.
