Turning Healthcare Marketing Into a Story About Getting Life Back.
Getting Back to What Matters
Frederick Health wanted to strengthen its position in an increasingly competitive healthcare market while creating a more meaningful connection between its advanced care and the people it serves.
Overit developed “Get Back,” a bold, flexible campaign platform built around a simple human truth: people don’t want to get back to healthcare—they want to get back to their lives. Through vibrant, highly recognizable creative, the campaign connected Frederick Health’s providers, expertise and services to the everyday moments patients value most.
The result was an integrated brand and performance campaign that extended across digital, social, outdoor, transit, print and video—building recognition, driving engagement and positioning Frederick Health as the care that helps its community get back to what matters.
New Strategy for a Distinguished Institution
Healthcare advertising has a built-in problem: people rarely want to think about healthcare until they need it.
For Frederick Health, the opportunity was to shift the conversation away from procedures, facilities and institutional messaging and toward something far more human: what good care allows people to return to.
The campaign needed to accomplish several things at once. It had to strengthen awareness of Frederick Health across priority service areas, support surgical and specialty care, differentiate the organization in a competitive regional healthcare market, and work effectively across a broad mix of digital and traditional media.
Just as importantly, it needed to feel like Frederick Health—not like healthcare advertising in general.
Campaign Objectives
The answer was built around two simple words: Get Back. Rather than making healthcare the destination, the campaign made it the bridge.
People are not ultimately trying to get back to an appointment, a procedure or a hospital. They are trying to get back to walking the dog, working out, spending time with family, pursuing a hobby, returning to work or simply feeling like themselves again.
That became the emotional foundation of the campaign: Frederick Health helps people get back to what matters.
The platform was intentionally flexible. “Get Back” could communicate a patient outcome, a lifestyle moment, a specific service benefit or a provider credential without losing its central idea.
Building a Distinctive Creative System
The creative system was designed for immediate recognition.
Bold blue, cyan and orange fields created high visual contrast. Oversized yellow typography made the message readable in a fraction of a second. Patients and providers were photographed with personality and movement rather than in traditional clinical poses.
The result was healthcare advertising that felt energetic, optimistic and alive.
That visual language was then extended across the entire media ecosystem rather than reinvented channel by channel.
Billboards carried highly abbreviated messages that could register at speed. Transit and bus shelters used scale and repetition to create visibility throughout the community. Print allowed the campaign to tell a more complete story. Digital display transformed the platform into modular, sequential messaging. Social media added personality and movement.
The campaign ultimately extended across billboards, print, transit, social advertising and responsive digital display, demonstrating the flexibility of the system.

The Proof is in Numbers
The campaign became more effective in Phase 2, even with significantly reduced media spending.
Search CTR increased 58%, from 6.65% to 10.5%, while impression share increased 65%, from 19.4% to 32%.
Meta CTR increased 64%, from 1.20% to 1.97%—more than twice the campaign’s cited healthcare benchmark.
And the strongest signal came from the creative itself.
Lifestyle video led performance. “To Morning Yoga” achieved a 2.91% CTR and “To Sunday Rides” reached 2.14%, demonstrating that audiences responded most strongly when the campaign connected healthcare to specific moments in their lives.
Provider-focused creative also performed strongly, with the top Google Display executions achieving CTRs above 1%.
Traditional media extended that impact throughout the community, generating approximately 7.72 million impressions across transit, billboards, print and cinema.

Connecting Care to Life
The “Get Back” campaign established a distinctive, flexible platform that delivered across both brand and performance channels, generating strong engagement and millions of impressions throughout the community. Lifestyle creative drove emotional connection, while provider-focused messaging reinforced Frederick Health’s expertise and credibility. Most importantly, the results validated the campaign’s core idea: the more “Get Back” connected care to the real moments, activities and people patients value, the stronger the campaign performed. The result was more than an effective healthcare campaign—it created a platform Frederick Health can continue to evolve around the lives its care makes possible.
