If it were up to Nic, he would make his bio “I make stuff and animate things.” It makes sense why he’s a motion designer and not a content writer. Even so, here’s a few things to get to know about Nic Hansen.

He has been drawing for his entire life, with some of his earliest memories involving getting in trouble for drawing in school. He also got into computer art and programming at a young age and designed his first web page (Calvin & Hobbes themed) when he was 13 years old. Senior year of high school, he got his first paid gig and never stopped. Since then he’s been completely self-taught, fueled by a desire to create and grow.

Having been at Overit for over 17 years, he’s had plenty of opportunities to expand his skill set, working in motion design, illustration, and animation. His award-winning work can be found in video games, movies, television, and on the web. Nic calls Overit “the perfect breeding ground for creativity.”
