Dan O’Leary
Over the course of his career, Dan has worked with hundreds of clients in nearly every vertical, from enterprise-level Fortune 500 companies to family-owned small businesses to a wide range of non-profit organizations and governmental agencies. Initially working in content creation, Dan quickly dived headfirst into search engine optimization (SEO), where he acquired extensive experience in website auditing, keyword research, web analytics, and the finer points of technical SEO.
Dan is responsible for overseeing SEO strategy and execution for Overit’s clients, growing their organic search visibility across a range of search engines. Dan also contributes to Overit clients with roles in Analytics and Accessibility. With a Masters’s Degree in teaching and prior stints in higher education, Dan emphasizes the importance of ongoing client and colleague education. Dan is a graduate of Union College in nearby Schenectady, NY, where he earned a BA (Cum Laude) in English Literature with a concentration in Medieval & Nordic literature. He received his Masters in Teaching (MAT) from Union as well, with a concentration in Secondary Education.
When Dan isn’t working, he’s a husband and father of 2 children, with hobbies in Gardening, Running, Cooking, Homebrewing, and Wing Chun kung-fu. His favorite accomplishment of all time was writing a 16-function nested Excel formula instead of 5 lines in SQL, just because he could.
