Overit’s Joe Schaefer will be teaching a web success class as part of the South Colonie Continuing Adult Education Fall 2011 program. Entitled ‘How the Web is Won’, Joe will be covering the following topics (taken from the course book):
80% of Internet users use search before buying online and 70% use search before buying offline. Are your customers finding you or your competitors first? Or, worse yet, are they finding you only to bounce from your website to never return due to design and usability issues? Topics will include tips for web design, development, usability, search engine optimization, social media marketing and mobile solutions.”
ELIGIBILITY
Registration is open to all adults (age 21 and older), both residents and nonresidents of South Colonie.
ENROLLMENT
Because Continuing Education is a self-sustaining program it is necessary to have a minimum of 12 full-fee participants enrolled in a course before it can be held. All courses are filled on a “first come, first served” basis.
