As Chief Organic Strategist at Overit, Chris leads all organic services, overseeing SEO and AI optimization strategies designed to increase brand visibility across search engines, large language models, and AI-driven discovery platforms. His work sits at the intersection of technology, marketing, human intent, and how people actually search, ask questions, and make decisions. Chris focuses on technical excellence, experimentation, and measurable outcomes—whether that means building search authority, aligning content with real user questions, or preparing brands to surface accurately within AI-generated answers.

With more than 25 years in digital marketing, Chris has built his career across both organic and paid media—starting in-house before moving into senior roles at non-Publicis agencies and digital marketing firms. In 2014, he founded Web Traffic Advisors, advising brands directly and supporting agency delivery of SEO, paid search, paid social, and performance strategy. Chris joined Overit in 2025 to scale organic strategy across a broader portfolio of clients. Chris has driven growth initiatives across ecommerce, tourism, hospitality, B2B and education software, retail, and multi-location service brands. Known for his pragmatic approach, he specializes in translating complex search and AI systems into clear, actionable strategies that drive qualified traffic and measurable impact.

A frequent public speaker and marketing team trainer, Chris focuses on practical, field-tested strategies—not theory—to help teams adapt to the rapidly evolving search landscape. Chris graduated from St. Alban’s School in Washington DC and later earned a BS in Marketing after serving as an artillery non-commissioned officer in the USMC. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, playing soccer, and walking his Labrador and mini Dachshund in Niskayuna New York and surrounding areas.
