Mirek Janczur
Mirek is a multi-disciplinary visual designer, with over 20 years of experience.
As an out-of-the-box thinker, he clung to the inspiration of NYC’s diverse 90’s underground rave scene after emigrating from Poland at 18. After receiving his BFA from Pratt Institute in 2000, he has fused his love for art and sound over the past 20 years, knowing precisely what innovative design makes a client’s message stand out.
His multi-disciplinary expertise allows him to utilize a full range of creative approaches to bring brands to life. From full branding/rebranding initiatives to concept development brainstorming (180-degree Thinking & 100 MPH Method, Sketchnotes), to art direction/execution of creative campaigns, to creating research-based & user-centered experiences to help develop products that are both visually engaging and highly usable.
With diverse experience working for large agencies (KPR, Palio, Fingerpaint, Pixacore, Media Logic, and of course, Overit), smaller design shops (CCA, BrandedAF, Cider House Media, BrandCru, Innsena), and on an individual freelance basis (Mirekulous Brands LLC) he was able to work on a wide range of projects for philanthropic organizations, tech-startups, and globally-recognized clients.
And while his soul thrives off of electronica music, his heart is taken by his two daughters.
