We’re about to begin the 24 hour stint known as CreateAthon, and we’re psyched! Over the next 24 hours straight, we’ll be putting our talents to use for nonprofit organizations. It will be a true test of our skills, time management, and the strength of our deodorant.

As described by CreateAthon:

“CreateAthon is a 24-hour, work-around the clock creative blitz during which local advertising agencies generate advertising services for local nonprofits that have little or no marketing budget. Since the program’s expansion from a single market to an international effort in 2001, 42 agencies have joined the CreateAthon network, holding CreateAthon events in their cities. This effort has benefited 1,008 nonprofit organizations with 2,143 projects valued at $8.4 million.”

We’re thrilled to be able such organizations as The Northeast Cancer Society, Terra Nova Church in Troy, Hudson-Mohawk Humane Society, Stride, a Rensselaer group that provides recreational activities for the disabled, and the Doane Stuart School.

Over the next day we’ll be putting together a number of resources including print materials, brand developments, and Web design & development. Stay tuned, we’ll be sure to post the fruits of our labor at the end of the day.
