State-of-the-Art Focus Group Facility Opens at Overit
(ALBANY, N.Y.) – Overit, a full-service marketing and communications firm, announced today that it has officially opened its new Focus Group facility. This is the only formal facility of its kind in the tri-city area.
Conveniently located at 435 New Scotland Avenue in Albany, this new facility features a formal conference room and a professional, but comfortable, viewing room. The set up features the most modern audio, video streaming, and recording capabilities, and the largest two-way mirror available. The conference room can accommodate up to twelve participants with eight people observing from the viewing room.
Commenting about the new facility, Paul Fahey, Overit Chief Operating Officer and Staff Moderator, said, “This facility was developed in response to our client demand for research insights that are used to inform creative concepts, web usability and marketing plans. Now, we’ve expanded this service to welcome outside clients interested in hosting their own sessions for product testing, mock juries, and more.”
The Facility was designed by Paul Fahey, who gleans experience from more than 450 sessions in a variety of sectors including healthcare, higher education, retail, non-profits, and mock juries, among others. Recently, he was invited by the Soros Foundation to “train the trainers” on focus group methodology for healthcare at a conference held in Bishkek, the Capital City of Kyrgyzstan.
Fahey added, “As we officially open our new, state-of-the-art Focus Group Facility in Albany, we look forward to providing the Capital Region with a formal option for conducting qualitative research.”
